As much as I love to try new things, I am also a creature of habit. At the turn of a new season I without fail find myself on Forever21 grabbing up all of the latest looks. This spring was no different, but my spring fashion haul did inspire me in a way I didn’t expect. Looking at styles & taking my own personal style pics is one of my favorite things to do. So whenever the new goods arrive at my door I’m always hype to try everything on and see where the style gods take me. With spring in the air it’s no surprise that taking more photos outside is a must, especially here in New York! The weather is warming up, the flowers are beginning to bloom, and the fashion gods are screaming nature inspo to me. My outfits drew me straight to water and flowers. 

My first look, as soon as I put it on I knew that the gorgeous rust colored palazzo pants would look incredible with the Hudson River as their back drop. I also knew that one of my staple Forever21 go-to tanks would be the perfect compliment. I didn’t know it at that exact moment but I was craving simplicity.

My second look, a super cute mauve body con, was absolutely perfect for a low key Easter with my family. It is extra lighwight and super stretchy. Wearing it I just felt free. Walking outside I saw the beautiful Cherry Blossom trees just blooming and I was drawn to them, the perfect pink compliment to my dress.

Nature inspired me more than just the backdrop to my new spring threads. It also reminded me that life can get a little crazy sometimes but there’s always time to appreciate your surroundings. Your family, your friends and nature can ground you when things seem out of control.  Take a moment for yourself and remember to stop & smell the cherry blossoms. 🌸
